Hi, everywhere I read and ask I hear that golem followers can’t regen and will just break down when HP reaches 0. I’ve build one and use him as a guard outside my purge base. He had lost up to 3k HP multiple times but always regains full health after some time. I haven’t done anything. He just stands there.
Is this a new rule or Single Player bug or something?
Since Star Metal weapons do 8x the dmg, do all weapons made from Star Metal, but not named Star Metal that 8x more damage to golems?
Anybody tested that out? I think it does, since Kurak dungeon never seemed to be difficult with my trusty Nemedian short sword.
I had this happen on the Nub River, near the Sentinels. I placed two golems, one with a scythe to collect berries, the other with a sword to guard. Both were attacked every time by shalebacks and a crocodile. The one who picked the berries gradually and irreversibly lost his health. The one that was guarding always restored its health up to 14000 with each new game load (single player).
The displayed HP is not total HP - damage, but rather total HP + (mystery calculation).
When your golem takes damage, the HP will align damage remaining, until you leave render range and the the idiot HP will redisplay.
I suspect the issue is that Golems do not regain health and no one has been able to figure out how to display static damage because this type of bug is ignored.
