Do you have this bug ? I would like to build big gates at the 2nd floor where foundations will be visible at the underneath level and so placing foundations there is ugly.

Hi,
there are two good tricks for trying to get gates to line up properly at the edge of foundations.
Option 1 - place a line of fence foundations along the edge of the three main foundations where you want the gate frame to go - the gate frame should then be able to snap to the top of them.
Option 2 - place a wall where you want the side of the gate frame to go. Place another wall on the other side. Climb on top of 1 of the walls (maybe snap stairs to it to make it easier) - facing outwards, look across to the edge of the other wall, and you should be able to snap the gate frame in place.
