You might be confused because apparently in game its supposed to be an aquilonian province but according to the lore, its actually independent from aquilonia as middle aged france. I am curious if the devs could perhaps think about making a middle ages france dlc that could be called “the holy Poitain” or something. Heavy armor being like that of the knights templar, medium armor being like that of the guards, light armor being like that of the archers… perhaps add peasant rags as alternative clothes to the plant fiber clothes that we have right now… basically a more medieval look. Those are some of my ideas for this dlc.
It would appear some of this information is wrong but none the less poitain still is southwestern france and it would be nice to get medieval france up in this.
Poitain was an Aquilonian province with its own culture and a sometimes independent approach to the central government, but in Conan’s time as king of Aquilonia, Poitainians were among his most loyal supporters and the core of his armored cavalry. (See e.g. Phoenix on the Sword, Hour of the Dragon.)
It’s possible that the coming Riders of Hyboria DLC includes a Poitainian knight armor.
it says poitainians are southwestern french in the wiki. but either way if its actually Poitou then that is what I want, i essentially made it clear that I just want medieval french culture in the game.
hopefully… I atleast want to be able to dress up as a knight!
