Right, but when we use mods, it’s at our own risk. If things run smoothly without them, the devs wash their hands. It’s a caveat emptor thing, so I suspect there might be more to it. Sony is really restrictive. Mods can only contain in game assets. I once read it had something to do with the possibility of malicious code being introduced giving more access to stuff they don’t want us to have and things like that. Take it with a grain of salt. I just glanced over the whole thing. It’s not my expertise, so I can’t tell. But they are a bit paranoid.
Now, I ran over 60 mods in fallout 4 and had no performance problems. What FUNCOM needs is optimizing the damn game for PS5 properly.
The delay in texture rendering is very, VERY annoying. It drives me crazy seeing textures slowly appearing when I turn around.
