Cannot place walls on stairs

Placing stairs against a wall is possible, but if the wall were to be destroyed, you cannot replace it unless you first destroy the stairs.

Repro steps:

  1. Place stairs against a wall.
  1. Destroy the wall.

  1. You are now forced to destroy the stairs

  2. Replace wall.

Also experienced this on PC. Very irritating.

This is also occurring on Xbox version as well. It’s very frustrating.

Yes even on live you have to build all of the walls FIRST that you want around the stairs then put in the stairs.

Been this way for a while, since big update last month.

This seems to affect a lot of structures. I’ve placed crafting stations that were really close to the wall but not touching it. If I destroy the wall, I can’t place another because the station is in the way.

I think they changed the collision of different blueprints and it’s causing issues.
