Can't harvest anything

[I can’t harvest anything right now on PVE server 3890 on ps4. My pick goes right through things without harvesting. I’m also able to walk right through trees. I kind of walk through rocks and metal nodes as well but then get pushed back. I can still fight enemies though and all my stuff is accessible I can also harvest bodies but cannot harvest any world resources. Please help because this is very frustrating. So, it turns out I had a system update that needed to be installed. That seemed to fix the problem.
