I got the urge to revisit this game, and was excited to see that the servers were still live!
After I installed it, and made a new account, it keep getting some frustrating errors when I try to log in:
“Logging in…Failed to authenticate with the character server.”
“Lost connection to server. The Server may be down for maintenance, please try again later or contact Funcom Customer Support.” Are the most common ones.
I have gotten to the character creation screen a handful of times, but after creating a character it goes back to the title screen, and I get the same errors again.
I have tried the Steam client, and the stand alone client. I have tried VPNs, hotspots, and with and without IPv6 protocols enables, always get the same errors. Anything I can find on the internet is at least 6 months old or older. Any help would be appreciated!
