Equip the hammer and the player is frozen. Can not move in any direction. Any one else have this?

Cannot get to keybinds in game it crashes to desktop.
I can use the hammer, but having the same problem with keybinds, crashes to desktop when I try to go into them.
You by anychance using mods if so which ones?
