2.Cant pick it up again, its lost, same with dead npc bodies, cant loot them

There is a trick you can use to get your bag out of the water. Sometimes.

Prepare to place a sandstone foundation. Don’t actually place it. But the floaty foundation in front of you can knock bags around.
