Can't recover Reptide (New legendary javelin) when thrown underwater

[When you throw Reptide underwater, you can’t have it back even if you interact with it]

1.Throw the javelin “Reptide” underwater
2.Go to where it landed
3.Interact with it
4.You should get it back in your inventory but you don’t, nothing happens.

Edit: I did more testing in single-player and it appears that all javelins have this issue.
