Sometimes, mainly bosses I think, will telegraph an attack but will gravitate towards you. An example is the Sand Reaper Queen boss near the Black Galleon. She’ll do a swipe, and in the middle of the animation, she will slide towards you.
Same with the human NPCs as well. They’ll be sitting down, and as they’re getting up, the animation for them standing to fight will be mixed with twisted proportions. Their body will be facing you but the lower body will be twisted.
