Check first windows conf, you need to check audio configuration and audio devices, maybe you need to have microphone turn on,not turn on when you need it,use microphone audio level to don´t make any noise,a few weeks ago,in another game i had the same issue…and check windows audio devices and configuration, both, you should have the device listed and selected, not only listed.
Another game, not the one from two weeks ago has the same issue…others games use your device just listed, some need to have selected the device.

1-Right clikc in the speaker right down to open audio configuration.
2-Type “control panel” in search field left down, right to winodws logo, and select audio hardware.

Check both to be sure there is not something wrong there.

There is nothing wrong, it’s just when the default output changes to a bluetooth device (or it disappears when bluetooth device is disconnected) when a freeze happens.

Weird. I change audio output daily and the game never cares and switches smoothly to the new default device.

Are any of those devices bluetooth? I’ve seen another post touching on the bluetooth aspect. I switch between AUX and Bluetooth and experience the issue.

Nope! USB in my case. In theory Windows should not treat them too differently.
