As i don’t have respec potions i thought i kept everything the old way. So i went to my repair smith throwin my weapons and armor and nothing suddenly he cann’t repair anything anymore. Then i remember the patch the devs added new benchies but those are buggy as hell like not working or just destroying the repair items.
Devs are you mad if you add thing in a MMO keep everything downward compatiable while adding stuff.
So all my named thralls are worthless…
I can’t even build char repect potion as i can’t build the better beanchies…
I know it’s not an ideal solution, but you can gather Fragments of Power from Unnamed City bosses and eat them for extra Feat points - or get a lucky recipe for a Tablet of Power from the Archivist, giving you a better rate of feat points/fragment.
(Fragments of power, as others have suggested and you have agreed, is a way round this) But I’m genuinely a little confused - what items aren’t you able to repair with the old benches? I know repair kits etc have all been moved to the new Timkers Bench, but as far as I was aware, all armors can still be fixed in the old ‘Improved Armorers Bench’ and all weapons can still be repaired in the old ‘Improved Blacksmiths Bench’ - am I missing something?
My silent armor en Tear weapons couldn’t be repaired anymore on my improved blacksmith Which i have on several bases just for these repairs. So i was surprised when i went for a repair and nothing worked anymore.
A free repect would be much in order indeed.
You lose something the first one you take. Some dont want to do that.
Conan may not have started out as an MMO, but they are trying to make it more like one every update.
BTW there are 70 slot servers, still not massive in my books. Close enough until another MMO comes along.
ESO on consoles has limit or so, about 100 players, more can be in same area and it runs…godawful. (specially in pvp… I remember day i had Empress on day server was about to get wiped (you keep title do to glitch, so everyone tries to get it) Fulls groups all 3 sides… just massive chaos.
Its MMO cause of play style of game with online peeps? CE has Online part… don’t think it qualifies cause its 1 world map. Not several sections. (same as Ark, there seperate, but not really open world on that scale to be a MMO)
I was still(casually)playing Age of Conan when Conan Exiles was released in Early Access.
First thing that i said to my clan mates when i logged in for the First time was:
*Guys, we finally got what was promised to us 8 years ago*
I was mentioning the building system. So we went and constructed our mighty fortress and started challenging clans!
Perfect Age of Conan 2 for us.
Either Funcom admit it or not, this what Conan Exiles is. Maybe it was meant to be a survival game right from the bat ,BUT, there are so many similarities that you can hardly not to call it Age of Conan 2.
I Think Funcom were Smart with Conan Exiles. Instead of making Age of Conan 2, they risk all and deviate from the usual “Wannabe World of Warcraft” style towards the survival side. Lucky Funcom sees the increase in popularity for survival games and switches sides…from the usual MMORPGs to a Building Survival game.
They Hit the Jackpot with the game and save themselves as a company.
Now here start the problems with survival games for Funcom. A survival game can be only that much, a survival game in a certain Type of world. They need cash as any other company, kinda forced into the mmo side( they already have a small foundation for it).
You can call it a fully MMORPG when Exiled Lands will be connected to Siptah. IF they achieve this then you can call it a fully mmorpg. The way how will they do it, IF they do it will most likely find out soon. And…
Playing Meta all the time is need it for some certain players, maybe. In PvP enviroment gives you a small advantage, in PvE enviroment…who cares?
For pvp you have the horse early Level and a cat, so not really Smart to invest time in meta workbenches, but still offers a advantage of not needing a thrall inside the workbench.
And for PvE…i thank Funcom for selling me a NEW dlc at double Price.
AoC is a better game. I still play, working on two undefeated.
I like the fighting style better, and my Necro loves raise above the rest and flatten everything around her.
