Character reset or kill

I go back to the game after two days and the character is empty and by the bed, not where I logged off, what could have happened? Character Reset?

I’m assuming you were killed by someone or something, and then you got sent to your bed when you respawned

Make sure you alway find a safe place before logging off, if you can’t get home sometimes climbing up a cliff and sleeping there works. At least no one will accidentally drag hostile NPCs over your sleeping body

If it’s PvP a player could kill you, so then you really need a good hiding place or a secure shelter

You didn’t mention your event log, did you check that to see if you were killed by a player?
