I have this issue. I cannot perform the rituals on any of my sorcery-related benches.
Not the transportory stone, not the shallow grave, not circle of power. All will only give “you are too far away” error no matter where you stand.
I dismantled and rebuilt the t.stone once, which made it function again, but the problem resurfaced in my next logout/login.
Its possible this is related to the “thralls cannot be placed” bug, since it happens in the same base Thralls and mounts cannot be placed
