And you haven’t seen my screw ball, doesn’t mean it’s going change direct instantly 90 degrees. I know that was an SA answer but this is what we are seeing in game.
Realism and realistic are not the same thing and do we want the realism of a sward battle? No. Do we want fights to feel realistic? Yes.
What I find absurd is thinking what they have done to player battle mechanics is ok but what they have done to NPCs is wrong. All they did was give NPCs our battle mechanics amped up, and give us NPCs reaction speed.
What I’d like to see in the change is momentum/weight added back to heavy weapons and animals.
A tiger might be able to turn on a dime, if a rhino tried it he’d roll like a fat pig down a hill.
You might be able to rapidly change direction with a sword, but try it with a heavy mace. You may turn but it will continue going in the direction it was moving in.
