This is not accurate in many modern societies. Let’s have a look at the US: 85% want boomstick reforms. 69% want universal healthcare. These have been constant or growing for almost 20 years that I’ve been following them as topics.
In the game sphere, the only time I’ve actively tried to censor a Clan is when they kept choosing names that involved graphically harming and killing children. Sadly, despite the entire server working together to get them banned, we received notes from Funcom that nothing administratively would be done against them.
As a business owner who regularly prays that his logo or brand will never appear attached to a dangerous American politician, these latest undercalibrated restrictions, the topic of this thread, are an attempt at keeping written obscenity from being in proximity to Funcom’s work product.
