Good idea, I added this to the list :slight_smile:

a faction system like have a npc that you can get quests from or a add-on to the religion/temples that give you favor with using the dogs of the Dogs of the Desert as a example and after getting so much favor you can get weapons and named thralls in trade and can hire a purge from that group to attack another player. but you would only be able to ally with one faction and it would make the other factions more hostile even Sepermeru, City of the Relic Hunters be a hostile group if your allied with anyone but the Relic Hunters. have the way to get favor with the factions be different for example have the currency for the Darfari Cannibals be human meat or heads and have the Black Hand be alcohol. just spitballing i know it won’t happen.

Thank you for sharing your idea here, it is indeed interesting to highlight the different factions :slight_smile: . This agrees with the following idea: “Add quests/missions to obtain money/gold =
delivering packages, killing pets/NPCs in an area, bringing in resources, crafting items…”

Hey Gosti, let me report a bug here that you didn’t add: The environment sometimes pushes over our constructions. (Like trees through our workbenches, etc…).

Great analysis and suggestions despite I doubt funcom will listen, as a game designer I will say you may want to consider a career in that if you are still young as your analysis and breakdown of these systems show a deep understanding.

my dream pvp system would be a player made purge ie you go out get thralls train them get a battle standard plant it and put what thralls you want to use in the battle standard and have a “player purge start” and start the siege and you would have server settings to say

  1. limit how many thralls you can use.
  2. what time to start/end.
  3. thrall level limits.
  4. gear and weapons ie only have 1-5 thralls have T3-T4 armor and weapons.
  5. use the treasure coffer as the end point of the siege and to partake in this the player needs to make a base with a clear walkway to the treasure coffer like in the meet your maker game you would be able to use doors or gates as long as you could walk to the treasure coffer i know i am asking a lot of the pathfinding but one can hope.
  6. the risk/reward be able to be set ie if buildings can be destroyed, thralls killable or only knocked out, having things lootable and if you win the “player purge” you get what gear the thralls were using or something like that moddable settings.
  7. have a setting for player involvement ie can/can’t leave the “siege zone”, can die/only be KO, and if player dies sieges end or continues and if it continues can/can not the player rejoin the siege or just wait or something like that.
  8. have a min/max range of where to start player “purge/siege”

To be honest, I gave up everything in my life 2 years ago to help as many projects as possible that I consider “constructive” to improve the planet. Although here “Conan Exiles” is only for practice, because it’s more a fun project than “useful” :hugs:
So I provide analysis for different games, and I also have my own projects, hoping to one day meet a development team wishing to develop them. I hope on your side that everything smiles on you.

I mentioned this idea I had in another post but maybe the addition of a NPC that deals and trades in legendary weapons/shields. players can hand in 1-3 legendary weapons/shields in exchange for other rare items like other legendarys, coins/treasures, obolus or maybe skeleton keys for rerolls.

hello there. I don’t know if this is also for you, but I hardly see any level 2 bosses. So is this a bug? Or maybe increase the amount in play?

Thanks for your return. Indeed I encountered only one Boss level 2 during all my current session. I think it’s a spawning issue. I’m adding that to the list :ok_hand:

Hello … one thing that I found that has drastically improved my gaming experience is … LOWER server population. I used to have all kinds of annoying lag/latency issues when the Official server had over 15 to 20 players online. NPC’s would ignore you … Thralls would ignore your commands … etc.

Recently I have noticed that the server population has gone down … from 20ish or more … to like 5 to 8. This has actually improved the gaming experience on the server I play on. Thanks FUNCOM for reducing the number of players on the Official servers … that helped.

Now what is left is fixing the PING 9999 issue. Server crashes and goes PING 9999 almost daily … maybe more than once a day (not sure not on 24/7). If you submit a ticket all you get is the generic reply …

“Greetings Exile, We’ve received your official server performance issue report. We’ll take a look at what’s going on and pass the information on to our developers or our server host if needed. We’ll be in touch only if we have additional questions. Apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for taking the time to report the issue. Also remember that if you are experiencing any other issues, you can submit a new ticket. We’ll be happy to help you out!”

And … server keeps going down with PING 9999 …

I guess my suggestion is … FUNCOM … look into why servers keep going down and showing PING 9999 constantly.

But you did bring up very good point. I have total sympathy for the people who manage the Conan wiki coz they gotta rewrite every page every time FC takes Conan in a new direction.

I would like to see the addition of a new slave development system.

For example, we will earn «thrall» points for the following:

  • re-education of a thrall;
  • thrall’s victory over monsters/bosses;
  • etc.

Those points can be invested in the development thrall’s branch. These are the thrall skills/new behavior:

  • passive attributes;
  • if the thrall has less than 30% left, run away and drink an aloe extract from his inventory);
  • heal with a bandage outside of combat if health is less than 50%;
  • avoid a power hit with a dodge roll (recharge 20 seconds);
  • near-death condition if thrall’s HP equal to or less than 0;
  • increased resistance to stress;
  • and so on.

A slave who has reached level 20 can be promoted to commander, you need a lot of points for promotion and a number of conditions (tests). As a result - new skills and abilities.

Other related mechanics:

  • Military hospital system (beds and healers who are thralls too) for the treatment of thralls who are dying (long recovery).
  • Stress system. You no longer operate a thrall for battle endlessly. They accumulate stress point with getting damage. It affect his damage modificator and can move him to the base if level of stress becomes unbearable (healers and beds say hello).
