God i hope you can help me. I have an Arris DG1670 That i use with my ISP (Vyve Broadband). I have tryed to get this damn thing to forward ports needed to hose a server for a game. I have tried several ports and several different games. Each and every time it refuses to do it. It SAYS they are forwarded under the router, but each time i try to check to see if it is open, it comes back with it being closed.
I have called my ISP, they tell me to call Arris, they tell me to call my ISP. So not a damn one of them are worth dirt…I have no where else to turn but here…Any idea what the hell is going on? I also tryed turning my windows firewall off and on as well as the router firewall off and on…nothing.
This issue has happened with this game, Atlas, Ark, any other time i have tried to host a server on my own pc. But here is the thing, my wife can easily join me when i use the singleplayer/coop and even a friend from across the USA can join me…What the heck is going on?
I am also trying to run the dedicated server on the same pc i am playing on.
