I’ve been all up and down this thread and you seem to have the most success running both the server and the game on the same machine. Can you please help me do the same? I can’t seem to make it work. I’ve been following instructions from articles, trying to forward ports, but it feels like I’m missing something very simple.

I would include a screenshot of what it looks like to add a rule to my router but apparently new users can’t include images or links (I can’t even @ you properly!). So, here’s what it asks for:

Service Port: (XX-XX or XX)
Internal Port: (XX, Enter a specific port number or leave it blank)
IP Address:
Protocol: TCP/UDP

In the launcher DO NOT use these ports if running on the same computer as the client.
Close the steam client before starting.
In your router forwarding the ports you selected as UDP.
You may or may not restart the router after you done this.
