Using the Dedicated Server Launcher 1.2.2, I have “anonymous” as my username. Do I need to be putting my Steam name into this box for the mods to download and work correctly ?

Whats the command currently needed?

Picking a Map via ini file: This is the preferred way to select a map for the server to run on. You need to edit Engine.ini located in Conan Exiles Dedicated Server\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsServer. Add the following lines to this file:

ServerDefaultMap=/Game/DLC_EXT/DLC_Siptah/Maps/DLC_Isle_of_Siptah

On the beta Dedicated Server Launcher 1.2.2 (haven’t tried 1.1.2), multihome doesn’t seem to work. I have two NICs with two different subnets, each goes to a different external IP. When I select the second NIC in the dedicated server launcher, the external IP stays on the what the first NIC picks up, it doesn’t switch to the external IP of the second NIC like it should. This causes the port scan to fail, whereas when I use the first NIC it succeeds (I port forwarded both connections for testing this).

Do you agree this is a bug? Is there a workaround… I’m guessing something in an INI file I can manually change?

I have a problem with something regarding SSL I think? Do you have any idea what it might be? Its impossible to connect to the server from the external IP, but it is possible locally from another machine.

As of the Sept 1.2.2 version my modded server no longer works. I’m receiving the following errors after validating, swapping back to the previous version, and restoring from the backup files. I have also verified the files it’s not finding do exist, and they validate properly when comparing them to other files from my working servers.

Is there any potential for being able to manage both maps at once? Obviously they require their own files/etc. Just curious if there is a way to do it ie: like ark server manager does, or if we will need to host on 2 seperate machines to run both maps and still utilize this.

Nope, it was by design, makes things much easier: One launcher == One game

That does not mean you can’t have multiple games on the same machine, you can have multiple folders, each folder with its own Launcher that handles one game.

The only constraint is that each launcher/game must have its own set of ports, which all need to be properly forwarded on the router.

If you go in the older versions of the launcher (they are all accessible in the Release list on the first post), could you find what is th last version that did work for you? Could you also give me your mod list so I can take a look?

Do you get green lights on the Dedicated Server Launcher if you click on the port testing button?
If yes, have you checked you don’t have a firewall blocking the connections?

There’s normally a FAQ about that, which I realize is out of date and should be fixed since we are not using Steam anymore.

The short answer is that you need to use different ports than the default, the client and game servers should have different ports else they can’t properly access the network.

Try to set 7779, 7780 and 27016 instead of the default 7777, 7778, 27015

Same question as for @rezalas, could you check in one of the earlier version if that did work (like for example try the current 1.1.2 official), so we can see if it’s a regression or not. If it works in 1.1.2 then it means I broke something between 1.1.2 and 1.2.2.

Can you confirm that the mod download was working fine in 1.1.2 and only got broken in the versions after that?

Here is an intermediate version which does not have the part about the map selection, but it should properly handle the Siptah gamedatabase when doing the backups.

  • Fixed a crash happening when trying to load older .ini files that did not have a “DedicatedServerLauncherServerAffinityMask” entry set
  • Changed the backup code so it can properly handle additional game database files, such as the Siptah DLC one or any additional game db created by players for their own custom maps

I internally have a version that allows to select between Exiled Lands and Siptah with a combo-selector in the UI, but since there’s been reports of potential issues in the 1.2.x versions, I decided to shelve it until I get confirmation about the issues.

I need confirmation about the following things:

  • mod downloads working incorrectly or not
  • multihome not working anymore

If there’s indeed a problem, I’d like to know WHEN the problem started, and if you can find in which version of the tool the problem started (all the old releases are still available).

Hi,

I use the dedicated server launcher 1.2.3 on my computer and finally it show up a window with a text massage “close this window to shutdown the server”, I think the server is ready.

However, I login steam and run conan exiles, a massage “online services haven’t responded” just show up before I can reach the main menu.

I use my computer as the host, can I run conan and play it ?

Furthermore, how and where can I set the multiplier like harvest multiplier and other server related settings ?

In the launcher itself, I changed the ports to all kinds, but the problem is not solved. It seems that the server starts with default ports for any manipulations.

1.2.2 had issues if i tried to launch the isle with a small core of mods, 1.2.3 is to be working fine so far, thanks for the update.

E might had been port issues as i forgot to change the 3rd port off 27015.
Anyway, its working so far.

Multihome doesn’t fully work, need to connect through internal IP for me (before works normal with in-game server browser)
