Hello, when I shut down the server with the Zombie Check feature enabled and the “Log timestamps in local time” option selected, the server is unable to completely terminate all processes and does not close the save file; it leaves game_0.db-shm and game_0.db-wal open.
I tested this on other versions of DSL (1.9.0 and 1.9.2) and the exact same issue occurs.
On the Server Log screen, the server gets stuck on this entry: “BattlEyeLogging: BattlEyeClient: ClientLoadingScreenStopped”
When “Log timestamps in UTC” is enabled and the Zombie Check feature is active, the server shuts down normally in less than 2 minutes.
I’m keeping this option set to “Log timestamps in UTC” so that the server can terminate all processes.
Hi, what does this message mean that I received in the game chat?
I don’t have the GameTweaks app installed.
“Received Rcon: broadcast The server requested a restart: There is an update for the GameTweaks system available (Version: 1), from PeerAddr: 192.168.0.168:49910”
Fix to the local timestamp option which in some (rare?) cases could do an off-by-one write resulting in the DSL getting stuck when trying to refresh the UI. Dedicated Server Launcher 1.9.6
This version should help a bit with issues of settings reverting in some cases. Please note that this will not help with settings reverting while the server is running!
Thanks to Govard on the Admins United discord for testing the version.
1.9.7 (5 june 2026)
When saving the ini files, the DSL will not immediately reload them (was a timestamp check issue)
When loading the ini files, the log will not mentioned removed entries if they were empty (log spam issue)
Clicking on checkboxes (daily restart, enable rcon, etc…) should not reset changes to the CPU affinity checkboxes anymore Dedicated Server Launcher 1.9.7
Hello!
I got the problem, that I can start legacy flawless, but when I switch to enhanced, restart the launcer and start the server the launcher says I’m missing the C++ Distri 2015-2022, but it was already installed and I even reinstalled it (and restarted the the whole server).
Im actually having issues installing the server now that i have 1.9.7.
When the modlist is filled. i get parsing errors (modlist is roughly 1000 chars.)
and the base install itself of the core game wont work.
I have two installs going at once. so i have a server folder, in which resides a modded server and a vanilla server. the vanilla server is working fine. the modded server wont load at all.
It looks like a well-designed and useful map.
I wish there was a Linux version. I have so many extra Linux boxes kicking around here, but I don’t have an extra W11 license, nor am I pleased about the idea of serving from Windows. : O
