Conan Exiles Game Pass Not Compatible Unless Full Reinstall - Why Can't I Just Update?

I just started playing this with game pass. Great game. Having a lot of fun.

A server just got updated and the only way I could still play was to reinstall 87GB of the game. Trying to update through Xbox app or microsoft store doesn’t work.

Am I going to have to reinstall this every time? And how often is this going to occur?
