This happens to me and others on official just before or during combat events. It feels as if something in an npc (be it an effect or w/e) is glitching, and crashing the connection. I have never had this issue before on another server. 6158 is the server I am currently playing on, and it is the one with the best latency for which I live.

I have taken several troubleshooting steps such as uninstalling/deleting everything exiles, checking all my network connecetions/restarting modems, verifying game files, running with and without admin, configuring graphics several different ways (no impacts at all).

My PC Spec are AMD 5950x proc, 64 RAM gskillz, 2070black card, and m.2 evo samsung ssd hardrive @2tb’s

Anyway that’s my little story. I hope this helps pinpoint things. -ty

Our private unmodded server has also been experiencing this problem since around the time the mid-February patch came out. It’s particularly noticeable during purges, most players in the area will just get dropped with the message shown above. Server logs seem to appear as if the player logged out manually, no error message indicating a disconnect or kick occurred.

any info on this? I’ve posted about it so many times. I love this game so much, and continue to play even though I’m literally getting this “Lost Connection” every 5 minutes when I’m out in the world in serious combat (which is most of the time).

If anyone on the team wants to try and replicate it, they simply need to log in to one of the busy Official servers on any platform, and head for an area of the map that is heavily built up. Once there, fighting boss creatures or fighting 4+ NPCs will generally get you kicked with the “Lost Connection” error quite quickly.

I was kicked 3 times last night just fighting the Wight’s in front of the Barrow King, and kicked once while fighting him. That doesn’t include the many other times every single evening that I play and lose connection around Mounds of the Dead. Again, I love this game and won’t stop playing even though this is crazy annoying, but it would be so amazing if a fix was found!

Can confirm this is very annoying. When I decide to start playing again, this is the nonsense that will keep me away again.

Neighbors had purge yesterday, i lost connection 3 times in 3 minutes while helping them, they said they got DC even 4 times during the same time interval.
Today i got DC as soon as my guards started fight with rocknose near my base
 PC Steam, official server, PVE.

Yup getting this again. Had the same issue a week ago. Offline mode unable to connect to the Funcom Live Service.

Please don’t pollute existing issues with unrelated problems. They are having a new and different problem right now, post in a related thread or create new thread.

“Connection lost” has been plaguing players for weeks now and I’ve seen many threads opened to discuss it, then a bunch of replies related to the infamous authentication fiasco added, and the whole thing closed.

The “Connection lost” issue IS NOT RESOLVED. It will not be resolved when whatever current nonsense is preventing people from playing is resolved. It was introduced in a recent patch and needs to be fixed.
