Hello. When you enter to play online, it gives an error. (The connection was disconnected. To play on the network, you need to connect to the Internet.) I reboot many times, and after an hour I go back halfway. But this problem remains! How to be ??? What it is???

For the last two months, I haven’t been able to play the game at all. In spite of my best efforts, I am ALWAYS greeted with the “Failed to Login!”, window at the front menu.

So far, I have tried various suggested fixes and workarounds.
I’ve downloaded the Testlive client - still doesn’t work for me even without the next part, mind - and tried to swap some of the file details in the live Conan Exiles version with its details (Thank you Firespark for that sugggestion). Nothing.

I’ve tried to force FuncomLiveServices.uplugin to be re-downloaded. Nothing.

I’ve verified integrity about as many times as there are screws in the London Bridge. Nothing.

I’ve tried uninstalling and redownloading several times, which, by the way, data isn’t cheap here in Australia. Nothing.

I’ve tried restarting, rebooting, blah blah blah. Nothing.

Literally, I’ve done everything that can possible be done client-side.

Funcom, fix your Live Services. They’re not very live. They’re in fact very dead, and it was a really dumb move on your part to engage with a service you weren’t prepared for.


Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

start game, immediately get “Login Failed Please restart or try again later”. Start game w/o battle eye, immediately get “Login Failed Please restart or try again later”. Uninstall, same thing. verify game files, same thing. reboot, same thing. uninstall reinstall same thing. Click play online get error, click single player, error, co-op, error, friends list error.

searched the forum, other forums. Apparently this is quite a common error, that happens repeatedly after updates. and one with no solution??

Not entirely sure what i’m logging into when I click single player, and I NEVER actually typed a login to anything, so unclear what login information you are using. Perhaps you are using my steam information? who knows. Might want to improve your error messaging. Might want to stop working on other things, and whatever your “big announcement is” and actually focus on fixing this repeating error that seems to be ■■■■■■■ off a lot of people.

Sadly i’m 3.5 hours in, with the game clearly flawed and broken, its too bad it didn’t break in under 2 hours so I could get my money back and buy a game that actually works either on or offline without logging into a mystery server.

Game mode: Online custom servers - all / Eu, LATAM, NA, ASIA
Type of issue: Failed to join requested game - ANY server
Server type: PvE]

I can’t connect to any server with modifications for about a month (maybe longer).
The error message is still the same.


  • I reinstalled the game 6 times
  • I deleted all the modifications and downloaded them again
  • Running BE as administrator (reinstalled several times)
  • I run CE (both) as an administrator
  • I run Steam as an administrator
  • I also deleted the “saved” folder several times
  • I have updated graphics drivers
  • I uninstalled the antivirus - it didn’t help
  • I changed the settings of the firewall, antivirus, etc. - it didn’t help

I read a few tutorials - nothing helped me

Hey everybody,

We’ve merged recent threads about connectivity issues into this one for better visibility.
For those of you with mods, please remember to disable them in case they’re causing the issue. Some of the reported issues have been reported in the past by other players and were caused by mods.
As a workaround, and in the case you’re using mods, please try to unsubscribe from all of them, delete the Conan Exiles workshop folder (this step is important and often forgotten) and log into the game to see if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, try to re-install them one by one until you find the one that is causing the issue.
Those of you having these issues with no mods installed (and the Conan Exiles workshop folder empty), please send us your feedback about the exact error you’re getting, as well as your game logs (found in \Saved\Logs) so we can relay that information to our team.

Добрый день, дополнения ставил только официальные, их отключил в Steam, папку ( workshop) удали с компьютера. Проблема осталась. Нет возможности зайти на сервера, пишет ошибку (Чтобы играть по сети, вам необходимо подключиться к интернету). С удовольствием готов отправить необходимые файлы но не могу их отправить в это чат. Если предоставите электронную почту отправлю туда.

Good day, the add-ons put only the official ones, they were disabled in Steam, the folder (workshop ) delete it from your computer. The problem remained. There is no way to log in to the server, writes an error (To play over the network, you need to connect to the Internet). I’m happy to send the necessary files, but I can’t send them to this chat. If you provide an email address, I will send it there.

Reinstalling, redownloading - not helped, never. Tried too many times.
And delete Conan Exiles workshop folder - that’s not helping too.
There must be another problem - why can I connect to some servers with modifications and not others. Somewhere I don’t have characters and I won’t join, somewhere I have characters and I cant’t join too. The problem is definitely deeper than deleting modifications.

Mine is failing to log into funcom live services, only says to retry or try again later, that’s it, so wont do anything once i click “play online” as it then tries to connect again, and fails … I’ve noticed if I start the game without battleye it lets me get to server select screen, which doesn’t help me get onto the servers I play due to requiring battleye … Tried verifying files untracked number of times, uninstalling the game and sometimes just battleye and reinstalling, nothing works, tried starting as admin, nothing … only seems to work without battleye, also I don’t use mods either … though it does say at the bottom of the window -

After update all servers ping time is doubled or tripled.Before have 35-70.Now about 170.Sometimes some servers show normal ping.But most time must use direct connect to enter server

Win 8.1 (latest update 05.09.2020)

When trying to connect it tells: "Connection Lost. You Must Be Connected to the Internet to play Online”
When trying to connect without BattlEye: “Login failed.”

Tried to active TLS, but this wasn’t the issue. It worked once after getting into Solo Mode first. Not working anymore.

To me this feels like it’s an issue with FC live services not a client side issue.

Those of you reporting these issues, which OS version are you using?

@Typhon do you have any antivirus software running in the background?

@Ignasi I do, which normally is always on anyway when I used to play, but just in case that was any issue I have even tried turning that as well as windows defender off, I realize I’d forgot to add that in the list of things I’ve tried too, my bad there, Windows 10 here btw

Getting login error immediately upon loading. Can’t upload the requested files because apparently new users can’t upload.

Error says: Failed to Login! Steam online services are unresponsive.

Nope, every single ounce of possible security that can be turned off is turned off, because I got tired of not just Conan but every other game on the planet giving me stick over anti-viruses, so. They’re all off.

As for my OS, Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1.

Windows 8.1. Game launched from icon on desktop (not inside of Steam app). AMD graphics card. AMD CPU. 16GB memory.

I get the ‘lost online connection’ bug dialog 19/20 times. Once out of 20 tries or so, I don’t get the bug, but PING times are still too high to connect to a server. But if I use direct connect, game plays just fine.
