Continuing saved solo offline game

When going back to continue my solo offline save game it takes me back to character creation screen.
The building that was created by the previous save I was trying to play is there but no longer belongs to me.
I would have to restart a new game lose all game progress just for it to happen again when trying to continue the solo offline play

Welcome to the forum m8. Uninstall the game and install again. If the problem exists check your free disk capacity and if you have over 30 giga free then contact Zendesk. But i believe that uninstall and install back will do the job as long as you have free disk capacity over 30 giga.

I just uninstalled it and reinstalling it now
But after 200 hours I don’t understand why and I don’t use admin or creative mode I’m one that plays it the way it supposed to be played I enjoy the challenges that every game gives

But thank you for the advice

My dear fellow exile you must started playing before the new update. Unfortunately this update came with bugs, annoying as always. I was lucky enough after playing the first two hours of the game, the system alone suggested me to uninstall and reinstall. It worked perfectly for me so far. Best wishes for you too. Hope you’ll conquer the lands and enjoy the game fellow exile. Please let me know if it worked, it will make me really happy. Thanks for chatting .

Can not say from experience but I read on forum turn off ownership and u can use your buildings and thralls although that might be a last resort

For the player that wants to play the valid way on single player and accept purges turn of ownership is not the best option. What i would do was to cheat the game as it cheated me and go admin mode, remove the chests with the materials inside, log out after a couple of minutes and log back in to place the chests again on my own ownership.
However, why should a player go through all this? Especially on the new gen console people have to play careless.
They only good i can see here my dear @sestus2009 is that a player that goes through all these s… is somehow forced to use admin mode. And admin mode in this game is an experience like no other. It opens multiple creative roots for gaming! Above all admin mode can give you a chance to fight your fears in this map, get knowledge of traps and go prepared to face new situations.
Is it cheating? Well i don’t know it’s both ways. If i have to choose to loose from the unknown, or win the known i will definitely choose the second.

I think people should first play without touching the admin panel. Even if you lose something to a bug, don’t open the pandora box until you become experienced in the game. Do a few playthroughs to get its full flavor.

Once you do that, you should definitely learn how to work with the adnin panel and creative mode.
My first recommendation is: fly. Fly a lot just sight seeing. That aerial perspective will give you a lot of insight about the game. You’ll see how zones connect, their relative positions, how you can inovate when playing etc. Learn the map as you won’t be able to without flying.

Then learn how to tweak the game for your preferences when you use single player. You can make progression slower, faster, tweak stamina, dmg dealt and received, land claim, harvest rates, crafting costs, etc, etc… You can even change night and day duration, simulating seasons.

After being a little experienced with the admin panel, you can learn to create customized adventures that, despite the limitations, can be very fun.

So, first go without touching the admin panel. Then, learn all you can about it.

That’s for the map. On dungeon go in cloak mode. To see every spawn. Then god mode and walk slowly to see all the agro.
This game now rewards the player who build warrior, it rewards the player who understands how perks are working and it definitely always rewarded a player that use only one weapon in a whole session.
Every weapon is strong, every combination, some weapons are really strong but with many blind spots and some other are balanced to a more safe fight.
But it’s always recommended to go in fights with weapons that give you confidence in fight.
If you won’t die you’ll never learn however. The experience to stay calm on death takes lot’s of deaths and even me after all these years i kinda losing it for some seconds. So players shouldn’t feel fear on death and definitely should not get panicked. Easy to say but hard to be done!
My only wish now @MarcosC is that @Atomic-Nu will play without issues from now on :pray:t6:.
Let’s see!

Exactly. That sort of study will make you much more effective.

On pve, dying is cheap as long as you have a bedroll nearby. On pvp it sucks though

So after logging in and out a few times after some game progression I haven’t had any problems I’m hoping the uninstalling and reinstalling the game helps.
Again thank you for all your help

Bro, make backups of your Single Player maps every major milestone. You can do backup using PlayStation Plus cloud [easy peezy] or using USB pendrive formatted in FAT32/exFAT files system]

That’s what I started doing after I reinstalled the game

It’s a totally different experience!

You share the map now and mixed feelings will you’ll be getting in every step you make on your precious map.
Prepare to be disappointed and amazed two steps later. Online gaming is the best way to get the whole knowledge of the game and inspired from magnificent builders.
Like every single human community, the shields will always be high, but they’ll drop.
Don’t forget that we visit as “exiles” these servers and until you’re “proven” the little community of the server might be a little defensive. They hold defenses high because too many trolls exist, so don’t blame them. That’s for official gaming.

For private gaming things are easier, but at the same time they are so easy that pve doesn’t worth it. You meet easier people, getting in discord pages, sharing problems and help each other, but the environment of the game is very easy. So before you know it you’ll conquer everything but not really, because it was easy.

ROLE PLAY, RP!
You can role play as much as you wish alone, you can create scenarios and act them.
You can visit role play servers, accept a role that’s left or you wish to do and play. But mostly role play servers are either pve-c or pvp. That means that eventually you’ll get a fight with someone. If you like it go for it.

If you want to play the games “real deal” go official!
If you want to learn fast and make some gaming buddies go private!
If you wish to have conflicts with other players, RP is a good choice.
If you wish to see how the whole gaming mechanic works go pvp, but prepare to loose only! Especially in the beginning.
