How come you can only get feral flesh from the jack rabbits. Why can we get succulent meat that can be made into a stew?

I think you parsed that sentence wrong. I’m fairly certain that the Op was lamenting that rabbits only give feral flesh… not that feral flash only comes from rabbits.

Exactly. I think, perhaps once you have a skinning knife, the rabbits should drop tasty morsels of meat that, combined with peppers should produce Hasenpfeffer.
