And next on the list: She-Who-wWars-Mens-Skin, Armorer
Greetings Exiles,
We want to let you know that currently we donāt have additional information to share with you, however we have been forwarding the information to our development team so they can work on this.
We thank you for your understanding!
Could we have Living Settlements turned OFF on officials again until this is properly resolved please? Itās become detrimental to the players at this point. I for one have no desire to play the game when this is happening and Iām sure Iām not alone in this sentiment.
Good afternoon,
I donāt know if this is any additional information, but Iām in the same situation, but I noticed that the Thralls on the benches started dying right after I equipped them with weapons and armor and evolved them to level 20. Another thing I noticed was the maximum capacity in my clan. The maximum is 140 and when I tried to position the number 139, the game said that I had reached the maximum capacity. Maybe the bug is related to the maximum quantity.
Please turn living settlements off until you have a fix!
You donāt need development for that and with it on, crafters are dying daily.
This is really frustrating and actually negligent from FCs part.
Neither of these issues are consistent with mine. I think itās just a coincidence for you.
Signed up on the forums to see if anyone else is losing T4 crafter thralls with no other explanation than ā(2)ā being the reason. Sure enoughā¦
Since Iām a new user I cannot upload the image but itās just the same: So-And-So crafter thrall died (2). I play on a PC.
Edit: Iām on an Official server so I have no way of turning Living Settlements off (assuming thatās the problem). My thralls have access to a food pot, and I have had them die with and without having gear on them. My base can only be accessed via elevators so as far as I know thereās no way for them to wander out of the walls.
I am baffled by the (2). Does anyone know of a way to find more information about their deaths from the Event Log?
Noā¦ all weāre aware of is that thralls CAN be transported to area 0,0,0 on the map (in the highlands near the aqueduct) and drop down to the ground when too many spawn there. It can result in deaths from nearby wolvesā¦ however, that doesnāt account for the ones that just die with no reason provided. My only guess is that they fall through the ground and off the map entirely until they die. I canāt confirm this though.
Just wanted to add I am also having this issue. Lost my Fia this evening.
My thralls are dying left and right. Tonight when I logged on after playing earlier today, I found that I had lost yet another FOUR T4 thralls. Its good to know that the devs are on top of this one.
I wish you people would just turn off thrall bed use and see how it goes. No1 believes me this may be one of the problems.
I recently removed all beds, benches to sit on, chairs, and disabled the the thralls from interacting with all of the crafting benches. The crafting benches still benefit from their skills though. I even removed the well and the thrall pot. There are no doors and the only way to enter the base is via fast elevators. The crafters just stand there now and I so far I havenāt lost anybody else.
Do this people ā If i still played id do this even after they release a fix lol.
Updating that I lost another thrall Keyim while I was offline.
You do not need to remove any placeable to make the workaround happen, all you want to do is stop the crafters from roaming, so you just want to disable every item that is thrall interactable. Be aware that this literally means every item. If there is only one item still enabled the workaround wonāt work.
So just disable thrall use for all beds, chairs, stools, log benches, workbenches, wells, camp- and bonfires, thrall pots, bars, large crates (they occassionally lean on them), etc. and place your thralls in front of their benches or on any other and they will just stay there since they have no spots left to long for.
Sure this will turn your living settlement more into a ghost place, however, this will sustainably prevent your precious T4 crafters from passingā¦
they will still open doors, so you do have to lock them into a room without doors
If they still have places to go locking them in wonāt work, they will eventually teleport out of the locked place, at latest with the daily server restart (I tried it out with both, rooms and steel cages). The only thing that really works is switching off all interactable items for thrall use. And all really means all, that includes workbenches, fireplaces and crates and also all bars within reachable distance. Simply everything they can interact with. If you have done this properly they will just stay and stand paralyzed wherever you place them.
Up to know it works fine for me without switching off anything.
Guess our clients work in different ways. I am playing on official server, you?
Thatās interesting indeed I tried both, locking them in a separate room without any doors and inside metal cages. Both worked well the day I put them in but after the daily server restart they were roaming around the base again, leaving their prison and cages just empty.
Iām playing on official PvE servers on PS, #8004 on Siptah and #3055 on EL
On #8004 I actually had implemented this workaround already before the hotfix and havenāt lost a single thrall since then. On EL we have two bases, whereof one has the workaround applied, the other has not. All the losses I reported here came without a single exception from the base without the workaround.
Btw, since itās PvE, the bases with the workaround either do not even have doors at all or have them opened permanently. If you are on PlayStation as well, you could come over and visit us on #3055 or #8004, Iād be more than happy to show you around
I am on PC , so that wonāt work.
I am on pve-c, so the door thing is sort of critical, that is also why I am advocating for turning Living Settlements off until a fix. On our server door grieving is already happening regularly.
I have done the closed room thing 5 days ago and so far not a single one has been caught outside or portet to 0,0,0
