Contrary to what alot of people are dealing with, on my xbox one s i have had almost no issues besides a few invisible clothings and building pieces which fixed themselves eventually. i hadnt touched the thaumaturgy bench or invested into any skill points yet until about an hour ago. put on some new armor that was put through the bench and corrupted some perks. Got to my second base then dashboarded. now when i try to load the game back up i have a unskippable cutscene which i NEVER had to deal with. The few times i had made it into the server, the game crashes. Anybody dealing with this? is it the thaumaturgy bench or corrupting perks that can make the game dashboard and not being able to play?
Also as a side question, anybody notice their chick characters having man like actions now? Holding the war sickles? Other weapons?
No, but the some of the Flotsam pieces crash the game. As of this post[09-03-22], 2x trying to put up 1 pillar crashed the game. The 1st time, after the crash, when it came to the cut scene, I couldn’t skip it. Then, when loading my save, it went black and froze. They always break it worse than fixing it.
I did figure out what was causing it. Though, still broken, the only way to safely put up the pillars was to delete the other pillar 1st, then put the Flotsam pillar up.
Later, some of even vanilla assets were partially showing up invisible, fading in and out or straight up invisible.
For example, I put up an awning, the posts were visible the cloth was not. My cupboards kept fading out then coming back. Now, granted, the assets are physically there it’s their colour(??) that’s not. Like I put a bridge from my house out and over the water, I couldn’t see it, but I could walk on it just fine. Same with everything else. It’s really depressing, I was looking forward to this for a long time. Watched every FireSpark81 video. I love building in this game, I can get lost in it for hours, days, weeks, even months. But, I can’t use any DLC. Also, some of the pieces from the new Sandstone set are missing. Bunch of crap.
wow even some of the new pieces having issues?? im glad i havent had to deal with what u have to that extent with the invisble buildings pieces but who knows, if i get back in it could be even worse off than before. i built up like crazzzzy before the update to make use of the dlcs i dont have but sadly cant play with em. game still crashing as of now. unacceptable that u have to do a workaround to stop ur issues, shoudlnt be this bad in the first place!!
