Crazy start ... server 1068 :)

Starting to scout the server, previous character level 55. Nothing, stone tools and a hammer, desert.

First scouting F7 → G10 → D11 → C9 to feel the server before starting a full scouting.

G10 find a very big raided base, timer 355h55 … strange, I enter and found dead bodies and thralls. + open chests.

I loot everything I can, end game tools, weapons, armors, mats …

Another clan just send fews avatars right before I come! I see then come back and continue raiding when I leave.

Crazy start, I will sleep with the loot and come back later when it is more secure

LOL! That is a great find right off the bat. I wish I had that luck.

Lol, they were kinda silly to leave the freshly raided base undefended. I don’t understand this, tbh.

I hope you looted everything valuable, so they learn better for their future raids.

I think they first loot bags, and think to come back for the bodies a little later.

With this I can setup a base very fast, but … not now. Things need to calm down a little before to play there, may be in one month!

I wonder if they even noticed you or the stuff you took.

Being in the right place at the right time is everything! :joy:

Ah yes grab all the loot and body vault so you can awaken it and most likely offline a base or two with minimal pvp. Sound about right?

Yes, you are right. Star metal, tools, weapons, arrows, 500 bombs, scout server, then offline everything I can.

After bodyvault, sleep 1 month, come back and repeat :slightly_smiling_face:

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the point? You loot that stuff and “go to sleep”. So, what good does it do to you? Because you can get all that on pve, don’t need to sleep, and actually use the damn stuff…

Why not kill the raiders and take their bombs as well? Would make an even better start.

This is what we usually do: straight confrontation

You are right.

All the need for bodyvaulting and hiding anywhere with all my base in backpack started to feeling useless to me. As a person who was alone and had no clan, could not stand a chance against bigger clans.

I also wanted to build something nice, and not losing my efort when some 6 toxic players decide they got fed up with me and send four avatars at my base, so they destroy it beyond any repair, and “just because” they dislike I overbuilt The Crevice in north.

Not anymore, I am retired from this, PvE-C is the best choice to me.

You are what’s wrong with pvp servers. I’m not surprised you keep asking for 24/7 raid windows in other threads. The sooner this concept dies the better the game will be.

The point is he/she will wait until the server isn’t as busy to come on and offline bases only to then put it back on the body. The idea of I must have all the virtual loot in the game and never use it.

I think, as @Selene01 realized, PVE-C is a mode that suits her better.
Seldom solo players stand a chance on PVP.

Well, for some players the quickest and easiest loot is supreme to earning whatever stuff on your own. I partly get this, that’s why I seek and have in perfect mind each and every “soon to be decayed” base of people, who quitted playing or are not online, so I can loot it the first minute it got the decayed status.

But if I was PvP player, that PvP would be about something else than offline raiding helpless bases. This is no PvP, this is PvB (player versus buildings). But I won’t tell anyone how to play this game, it’s up to each and every person, unless it’s not about breaking the rules.

What’s wrong with 24/7 raid windows if you add offline protection?

Yeah they miss all the real fun PvP has to offer.

Nothing. That’s not what @Selene01 mentioned in other threads. It was more like “ make the game 24/7 raid like all the other popular games” guessing it’s a reference to ark and rust

If you add offline protection then it will keep more players interested in the game.

100%

Combat. Couldn’t agree more. What has been keeping me out of pvp is all the weird building, learning the techniques to blow stuff up, and so on. What pulls me towards it is combat. Eventually I’ll cave in…
