Maybe opening a can of worms here but I am curious as to what current bugs are in the game that cause major issues and/or minor inconveniences.
The current list that has either affected me or I am aware of:
random falling through building pieces, sometimes affects whole server at the same time if playing multiplayer
upon fresh log in fall through the mesh and cannot do anything about it, can last upwards of 5 minutes
gateframes will not snap together at 90 degree angles
cannot make epic version of many delved recipes and/or delve at all
server list 9999 bug, prevents connecting to any server or certain servers despite the server being available, have to direct connect and only if possible
fatal error when attempting to build on building pieces that touch multiple planes
snapping issues with build hammer where the ghost will cycle through many snap points and often will lead to building in wrong area/getting stuck inside meshes
cannot place building piece with no discernible reason, have to equip a weapon, go out of render distance or log in and out for it to work
thrall pathing issues, not following commands due to lag
thralls getting âstuckâ while following with no discernible reason
thralls dying with no reason
thralls being killed by using an exploit on PVE, PVE-C and PVP servers during non-raid hours
bonuses from buffed food and potions not applying
getting stuck inside of enemies, pets and mounts
purges will not start
purges will end due to no pathing to coffer yet worked previously
seige of Al-Merayah causes 2-3 grid wide lag on server
seige of Al-Merayah will not respawn despite boss being defeated
place bombs through hatches and doors
thralls falling through building pieces
infinite stamina
stamina will not regenerate
occasionally when taking items off of a bench that are not required as materials with a queue, the queue will decrease or be cleared
hatch door will show the animation and hear the sound it has opened but is still closed, multiple attempts may or may not allow the door to open
KOâd thralls still falling through the mesh, sometimes relogging or going out of render distance will show them, sometimes not
if kicked from a server and connect immediately, character will be tethered to spot regardless if there is a placeable in the way, rubberbanding infinitely unless you relog or pull bracelet
Well of Skelos boss sometimes does not appear
Various journey bugs that cannot be completed
If disengaging from combat or farming (having equipped something), character turns around and faces you or is stuck to the side, only way to right it is to climb or re-equip weapon/tool
screen tilts to side
tavern patrons sitting or standing in midair, backwards or to the side on seats or hovering above seats
0 decay remains as long as there is a person rendering a decayed base, have to log in and out or leave render distance
transportory stones disappearing on Siptah despite having full decay timer
any word that contains ârestricted wordsâ cannot be used for naming your character, clan, pets, thralls or benches, example âgrapeâ or âkushiteâ
characters still dying offline without reason; full shelter, no weather, etc.,âŚ
Golden Lotus plants are invisible in the Volcano biome
Encounters are not working at all in my game
all Stygians at Al-Merayah have a <1minute respawn time(!)
Spit Roast Campfire has no thrall slot
ps5 version still has rendering, framerate & desynchronization issues
large treasures do not remain on the Cofferâs list after log off. Meaning we need to pick them up and manually place them down again EVERY time we log in.
human NPCs run up and attack in their unalerted or âemoteâ poses
the Storage Container: Skinning will still not accept Fur.
Iâd like to add two, that were added with the new combat:
Elephants during their spinning attack, they donât spin anymore, they rotate around their target, aleays facing the target - kinda like the Moon orbits around the Earth. Guess, thatâs normal, since the Moon DOES orbit around the Earth, elephants rotate around players. Thanks to @Kapoteeni
Some of (or all?) the weapons have higher reach than their model, most noticeably are the one handed swords, and two handed hammers/axes. Bonus to that, during the two handed sword special attack , enemies should not rotate, making a straight down and forward attack a down and any direction around attack.
Not new issues:
Cripple, when expires, still does damage, stopping healing.
Dismounting (and mounting) a mount unequips your gear. At leadt when you jump off of a horse, you should automatically reequip the gear you used, when decided to jump off of the horse.
Still no Mummy of the ring. Instead of addig that to the game, they just reworked the whole journey system.
Sometimes certain challenges donât count. It is happening on a daily basis.
Worker slaves T-posing.
Slaves taken down from the wheel of pain has the default fiber clothing instead of their original (they can keep their weapons, but not their armor?)
You have to be perfectly aligned to be able to mount your horse. Even a small pebble can disrupt the action.
Sepermeru and other bigger villages are empty in single player, when you start the game session there.
Plus the ones I made bug reports about:
Main menu can not be controlled via keyboard, only up and down (no esc, no enter, and no up/doen in submenus).
Human enemies still have rocknose sounds when spawning.
Rocknose pets and trophies use the wrong model.
I donât know it is base game issue, or mod-related (edit: as I read through the wiki, it is not caused by mods Iâm using), but all higher end enemies have the same loot. For example the yoggites, manhunters, stygian invaders have hardened steel weapon, concentrated aloe, numbing wraps, shadebloom, cimmerian feast (or lasting feast, salted pork/exquisite meat) and money.
Thatâs it from the top of my head, other are mentioned in your post (and comments). Iâll check the others tomorrow.
The Primeval Bracers show as an empty sack rather than a set of arm guards and cannot be spawned from the admin panel (unlike the rest of the Primeval set).
Sometimes, when an enemy interrupts an attack, it forcibly unequips the weapon or shield and replaced it with a sack labeled unarmed that cannot be unequipped.
Donât know if placement of parts with Turanian set is deliberately janky and different from other sets or if itâs bugged. Specifically the quarter corner pillars, but others as well.
Is the stack of arrows in the Nemedian Archer set supposed to be a container?
Because itâs a container that holds up to five stacks of arrows.
NPCs still moonwalk, especially beasts.
Itâs already been mentioned, but it is worth repeating ad nauseam, sometimes facing locks and can only be corrected by climbing, this is most common in fights.
Auto-target-lock prioritizes non hostile wildlife and NPCs over targets that are hostile and closer.
This one is especially annoying given the current state of aiming melee attacks.
Rhinos charge attack now only adds 1 stack of bleed.
Explosive traps in the Warmakerâs dungeon (and I guess in every other places, where there are explosive traps) does not deal damage when exploding and when burning.
It is pointless to let the character respawn in the Warmakerâs dungeon after death, because you need a key to open the door, which requires killing 3 bosses. Naked. With bare hands.
The range of the sweeping attack of the Rotbranch, Avalanche and Rockslide is bigger than their limbs.
Buffer overruns still happen. There is one collecting crystals with harvest in the spider cave next to the spitting lizards on the river. It broke long ago. It was fixed, no buffer overrun. And, now we are back with issues.
Iâve had a random unequip of weapons or tools when swimming and then climbing (I think?). It literally removes it from the wheel and puts it into your inventory. On PlayStation. This has happened to me numerous times with my torch, building hammer, and riptide (especially annoying if Iâm about to run out of breath and it unequips).
Same with the volcanic and black ice forge, you have to be very close.
There is a patch where the lava hurts you in front of the volcanic forge. But it is paved with steel bar floor.
The badass lizardman and the votaries people who guard the forge fight each other, the lizard always dead. Was not the case before the age of war (if I remember correctly).
Invisibility during rolls (desync of other players). This leads to ignorant players reporting and actually banning other innocent players
Invisibility during attacks (same as above)
Teleport sharing on maprooms (yes this is a bug)
Bad stability check code â performance issues
Replication of unnecessary data pressures the server + client â performance issues
Bad building damage calculation code â performance issues
Player logins cause significant load on the server â performance issues
Midnight grove bugs â closed doors despite killing bosses etc.
Well of Skelos infinite key bug â The boss lootbags just keep spawning
Purge thralls getting stuck
NPC pathing is still bugged
Player inventory not visible for logged out players
Player name is âINVENTORYâ for logged out players
Client authority still exists
Katana sprint attacks bug out: heavy attack damage is applied + visible heavy attack animation for sprint attacks
Rolling thrust perk interacts with projectile weapons
Equipped weapons/tools/etc do not count towards player encumbrance
Dregs boss sometimes glitches out of bounds
Some Bazaar doors have 70k HP instead of 50k
You can attach bombs to walls/foundations
You can stem up anticlimb if it is 1 foundation above you without taking damage (this does not work in singleplayer)
EDIT (I have more from a friend):
Zath avatar is unkillable
If you exit water your equipped weapon/tool sometimes goes into your inventory, or it becomes invisible or bugged in your hotbar
There is an exploit regarding the stormglass set from the bazaar â you can make 500k HP foundations
Loot can show on bodies still after theyâve been looted
Character gets stuck on horses/mounts or literally nothing when they log in
Pressing play on a cooking station after ?reset? can insta craft everything
Thralls, especially guardian golems still struggle to be placed on flat ground
Zombie exploit: have more than 3 following you
Knockout tools havenât been fixed. They need to add a server setting that checks player thrall IDs and deletes offending thralls. Enabled on officials, initially disabled on privates (yes, players use the commander from el-merayah as thrallsâŚ)
Stamina/HP food buffs are still bugged. You will lose the bonus after 15 minutes and even go negative if you rebuff wth other buff types without killing
You can loot bodies through doors by punching with fists and spamming the âLoot allâ button
You can transfer loot through walls by abusing lootbags
