Looking for suggestions on how to deal with players who intentionally block spawns for example brimstone lakes have been littered with foundation, spider spawn in the jungle has also been littered as well as well as more locations everyone on the server is suffering from these people is there a way at all without having to farm for bombs to blow up almost thousands of foundations to get these spawns back.
Well if you blow them up youâll have to put down your foundations carefully so you donât block the resources from spawning and to keep them from replacing the foundation that you blew up but then theyâll just blow yours up so this process will just go on and on till either party just gets tired of doing it ⊠sorry wish I had a better answer for you
Unfortunatley there are no real tools that Funcom gives you to deal with this, especially if you are on an official server as the admins will generally not help with this kind of stuff, you can ask them though and maybe they will but usually they donât get involved. If it is a private server you will have more luck as the Admin might actually take action then and wipe/ban them from the server.
So which server is this on if I may ask?
If you are on official I will say at least it is PvP so you can actually blow up their efforts, The way I would go about it is to publicize their clan name, make it well known on your server who is responsible and try to turn as much of the server against them as possible, try to coordinate to find their bases and then wipe them relentlessly wipe every base, thrall buidling piece and character you find from that clan, make living on the server as unpleasant and hostile as you possibly can, essentially give them a taste of the kinds of âtacticsâ they are using. As if blocking off resources is a good tactic at all XD, usually it is employed by dimwitted players, but with enough effort you can maybe get them to get frustrated enough to leave the server. The other alternative is to just up and leave the server yourself 
Itâs not toxic to block brimstone lake, itâs just strategy. If you canât play with limited number of brimstone, then just learn how to play

It depends on playstyle: PvP - nope. Deal with it.
PvE-C: Its annoying, but you are still playing against other players
PvE: Its just toxic.
Of course I say about PvP.
On PvE there are more toxic things then blocking brimstone lake, e.g. blocking your home
If someone walls off brimstone with spiked walls you canât do a thing in PvE-C.
So in PvE-c its also toxic.
If they just kill you when collection brimstone its fine, but if they wall it off you canât do a thing.

In all seriousness anyone who considers destroying a resource for yourself and your enemy as a sound strategy is not a very clear thinker. See now blocking it off so that you still have access but others do not, that is strategy. But just stopping the resource from spawning so that both you and other players now have to look else where, thats just dumb, especially for a game like this.
Itâs like if I came on and blocked all the brimstone, literally every place you find brimstone I block it off, then I just say if you cant play game without bromstone then learn to play, itâs just dumb manâŠ
Also saying there are more toxic things doesnt mean the other thing isnt toxic. That is like me saying there are worse things than if I come and shoot your dog, I could shoot your whole family but it is fine because I will only shoot your dog⊠Once again it is a terrible argument.

Our clan blocked brimstone many times and I know how it works.
Why do you think that we blocked brimstone for ourselves? We donât need brimstone lake to farm a lot of brimstone
No no, I fully understand the thinking behind it, it just isnt very smart thinking.
Sure you donât need brimstone lake to get a lot of brimstone, but where do you get yours from? by the jungle water vents? maybe by a brimstone cave? how about I come block those off too, how bout I block all brimstone on the map? its just strategy, sure it may mean I cant use that either but neither can you so now do I win? lol, at the fundamentals thats the basis of the strategy and thats why it is stupid and the players doing it are usually stupid, because if everyone used that strategy no one would be able to get any valuable resources and we would all be hitting each other with stone tools, sound like fun?
The principle of that strategy is what makes it dumb, Iâm not saying it doesnt work, but the only reason it works is because most people give up and move servers when someone does that, But you would just need to do that on a server with a player like me to realize exactly why it is a stupid strategy, I would demonstrate what an eye for an eye means and why it would leave the whole server blind.

Why not? Itâs game about survival. You canât survive without brimstone, you need hundreds of bombs to raid small base.
No, we did it a lot of times and strong clans donât left server after that.
Sometime enemies blocks brimstone and we also doesnât left server in this case

The fact that you want to jump to how you will farm resources faster than me and make the assumption that I donât know how to farm XD, especially when you have no idea how I play the game or farm, already tells me a lot about your mentality and character.

I donât say that itâs stupid to not block brimstone lake. I just say that blocking brimstone good practice and more fair practice then walling it

Had you actually asked I wouldve said Acheronian or obsidian pick. But you can also get brimstone from ocean vents in which case using ones hands work in that situation.
Unless you are on a modded server in which case some of the modded items have much better harvest yields than vanilla.
Edit: come to think of it black blood pick might be better, but if so than probably not by much, I dont really use black blood tools as much, but if it is better Iâm sure its a negligible difference

Yeap, when players use it for building we donât block it.
I can tell you one of stories of lake blocking.
Someday we raided big clan. After raid they decide to revenge us. But their pvp level wasnât so good and number of players was less, so they canât do anything.
So they attacked us in another way. Every day they came to our base nude with just 2 bombs and blew anything, again and again. Every day they blew 100-150 bombs near our base. They blew spam, they blew spikes, they blew walls. They didnât do real damage, but it was annoying.
So what we do? We closed brimstone lake. Was is good decision? Of course, because they left server in a week
The good news is after a year and a half on the same official server, the butt wipes get bored after 2-3 months and go away.
We have had some real nasty folk and clans on. Even had one drag a king scorp though my property to kill off as much of my stuff as possible. We lost 4 hyenas and a low end fighter.
We are still they, they are all gone.
The funny part is after they are gone, the rest of us have a party.
