Decay in Single player

Hello everyone.

I’m looking for help on all the server settings of single player mode in Conan exiles.

Also I would like to know how to shut down decay on buildings or set it to a lv where it will be no issue to bother in single player mode.

The reason I need help on the settings is that I have lost a castle I was working on for over seven days in total. Yesterday 19 April when logged out from online and logged in the single player mode I found my “under construction” castle gone from decay. I checked the settings at abandonment option and the decay settings for buildings and npcs were just I had them set from the start.

Also I found few pieces of two Of my other bases damaged. Overall through the assistance of the repair hammer I was able to to see the timer for decay but I couldn’t see the time cuz the display was showing me “Decays in: -” instead of time.

Both “disable” options at abandonment are marked with tik, npc decay timer set to 30 days and Building decay time multiplier set to 0.1.

Having the “Building Decay Time multiplier” set to 0.1 delays the decay ?

Ps

On Google via search I found for the decay time multiplier that If enabled, changes the time it takes for building pieces to decay. The lower it is, the slower the deterioration.

Greetings @Kazalakis. Fellow offline singleplayer here.

This is very odd, as I have my game set to the same settings; ie- ‘disable building abandonment’ checked & ‘building decay time multiplier’ set to 0.1, which is merely intended to be precautionary.

There are however a couple of things which stuck out for me reading your post.

Mine also has 'Decays in: - ’ when examined using a repair hammer. This may be a stability issue. Tell me were all of the pieces joined together, or were some not yet fonnected to the main structure? Also, have you checked the event log as of yet, and what (if anything) is it telling you? Just incase, press Options > Event Log. While we would not likely need them all, ensure that all boxes are checked, set Proximity and Days Passed to their maximum values, 10,000 and 21 respectively.

Let us know what it is telling you Kazalakis, and we will follow up thereafter.
