Hello, wonder if anyone else get that “feature” or bug or whatever that is. So when using Jon the Tinkerer smelter (only happened with him) my ingame friend received decorative iron bars when smelting iron ore in the furnace. Random “drop”, since he smelted like 3k or iron ore and received 3 or 4 decorative ingots. Is it some kind of hidden “ability” of that particular thrall or some kind of bug? Anyone else get those ingots?

ps - imagine how awesome it would be, if thralls have such hidden skills - like random item spawning or other cool features
Your “ingame friend” is just pulling your chain. Just a little prank to have a bit of a laugh at your expense. None of the smelters (including Jon the Tinkerer) can “randomly” craft decorative ingots. You should totally get him back though, to make him jealous. Tell him something like: your Darfari Witch Doctor (on the Firebowl Cauldron) is crafting doubles of alchemical base, like a two for one special.
Oh I don’t know. Far as I’m aware it’s not a thing, but I suppose it’s not completely outside the realm of possibility. I mean we’re talking about what, a .001% drop rate? I could easily see Funcom sneaking something like that in without telling anyone about it.
There’s only one way to find out what’s going on. Spawn this smelter in your single player session, do whatever journey step needs to be done abd smelt iron there.

I was not saying the Decorative Iron Bar does not exist, I was saying that it does not randomly appear from smelting iron. I am well aware of the item.
I cannot remember why it happened to me, but it wasn’t in Siptah, it was on exile lands, yet it did happen and i was scratching my head. Of course it happened a couple times and never again.
And no i didn’t had teammates and it was official pve, so nobody else put it in there.
