Destroy a Dragon - Journey Step Not Working

I have killed two Red Dragons (with a hardened steel bow and snake arrows) on the north side of the Unnamed City south of the Den.

Even though I killed two separate Red Dragons, the Exile Journey Step (DESTROY A DRAGON) did not change to a completed journey step.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Kill a red dragon using a hardened steel bow and using snake arrows
  2. Journey step does not flag as completed

My very certain guess is that you have to hit it with a melee weapon.

I think same thing, one hit with melee weapon, then shoot away and try.
