Dev Question on the State of Combat

I recently started playing again and have found my self puzzled at a few of the semi recent design decisions that have been made regarding combat. I sat down to write this long post about what I perceived were issues and potential fixes. Then it struck me that it might be better to ask what you thought the state of things were before writing a long ■■■ post, based on misconceptions on my part.

I’m mainly interested in your views on the different armors types and where they sit. In pve specifically. Perhaps I’m a poor player but it seems like a really tall order to try lvl 60 content in anything but heavy. I’d argue even before lvl 60 it could be rough depending on your thrall situation.

I\d like to make a lightly armored character and still be able to do this content. Right now it just doesn’t seem reasonably possible. That being said I understand why you have made some of the changes you have. Mostly the roll normalization and the stamina changes. The question is, do you see issues with light armor at the moment? Do you have plans to continue reworking the system and if so, to what goal?
