all servers went down for a restart. lets hope living settlements are brought down
and lets hope they undertand why it is a bad idea on performance, and bring back our thralls in benches, as in the past, and get fighters a patrol emote instead ![]()
they only disabled it on 3 servers ![]()
and apparently yes, i put an alchimist in siptah on guard and found him an hour later in my base at mounds drinking from the well
maybe they brought down all of them to disable it on every one.
they are saying in the patch notes that they are diaabling it on 3 servers
@Dana i dont undertand why its being disable in 3 servers only and not all of them..
whats going on? i am trying to udnertand the logic behind it.

Default allowed ping increased to 300 (from 200)
that does not fix the lag issue.. it makes it worse.
I generally am looking forward to living settlement working. But then I also didn’t play when it was active back then.
What are the issues with it? Bringing some life to the bases sounds like a good thing for immersion.
Was it performance problems? I read that back then some thralls disappeared. I hope with teleporting them back they fixed that since that would really be a no go losing the named thralls.
Just a side note, the update says it disabled living settlements on server 1942 which is the server I was merged to and the ping is still 350+ so it didn’t help
@Dana Please also disable living settlements on official server 1738, multiple players have been having issues with their crafters disappearing and/or getting killed since the update
please add 1051 to list , momentaly is unplayable
Oh wow. I just brought a driver taskmaster thrall to Siptah - my main base in the exiled lands. I have another base there kilometers away and the thrall the moment I set him onto the wheel started to walk away.. into the wilderness for hundreds of meters. I set him back to follow, placed some beds but still he would walk away into the wilderness.
There needs to be a check: if distance to chair/bed/food/whatever > 50-70m don’t even start walking there! just stay in the base and work on the bench/station or guard.
