OK, Thought I’d give my new Lvl 20 Purge Fighter, Cormag Beastblood, a fight against Red Mother
in the Unnamed City.
I used to the boss pounding thralls mostly into the ground, and can work around that by running about and summoning the thrall to me, or if I build up some distance between the boss and I, to click ‘unfollow’ then ‘follow’ on the thall. Was going as normal, got Red Mother down to about 5%, then she stomps my minion into the ground again…but this time, no part of the thrall is showing above ground. This is a slight concern, so I run about trying to get some distance to have a better look. Red Mother then vanishes from behind me. Gone. Nowhere to be seen.
I now have time to look for my thrall, knowing that Red Mother occasionally does this. No sign of thrall. I think, right, I’ll suicide, and thrall will eventually return to where he was last on guard (at my base).
So, I suicide. I check follower tab to see his status…and…he;s not there!! I don’t remember him dying, as he was on about 90% health, and i check the event log, with the ‘thrall/pet’ only checked ofc, and no mention whatsoever.
Cormag was stomped by Red Mother completely out of existence 
It would not be so bad, but he was a thrall that finally had decent perks.
To say that i’m slightly annoyed, would be an understatement.

- Take a thrall to fight Red Mother
- Have the fight!
- Wait to see what happens
- May have to try a few times
