When placing a structure from one of the DLC’s it’s really hard to see what way its facing due to how white it is, even in dark areas it can still be a pain. I’d show a picture but can’t due to being new to the forums. I would also like to know if Smelter thralls will ever smelt stone 5 instead of 10 to help with the price and annoyance of farming. I see bases only made out of either Tier 2 or black ice and that’s it, i never come across bases that use the regular tier 3, or DLC structures. I think that matter should really be looked into cause i want to use more of them but the pain of farming the ichor, twine, and stone and then having to cook it all is way to long compared to just grabbing some black ice.
I have now ran into another and i think way bigger issue, i placed fence foundations for the first layer and put the fence with spikes at the top to stop climbing. I now want to place regular foundations that are snapped to the fence foundations which works until i get to the last block i need to place. The spiked fence stops you from placing the last foundation (all this is with the Aquilonian building pieces).
sometimes the order u place pieces matters, try dismantling the fence then puttin ur foundation then putting the fence back. stairs and doors gimmie grief too.
