DLC unavailability

Look I get it, Funcom has to make money. I’m not against DLC, battle pass, or bazaar on the whole. What I do have an issue with is any time there is any disconnect between me logging in and me logging in again without loading the game fresh the game seems to think I haven’t purchased anything. Can you all please implement some sort of persistent cache that only has to be renewed once a week or something. I’m about tired of jumping through hoops to use content I’ve already paid for. PS5 and PC, doesn’t matter. Sporadically after sleep mode.

Yup… I’ve gotten to where if I notice something won’t appear or craft, I may just have to re-log. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I mean if I need a persistent connection to Funcom to use anything then everything should be cross buy. Just make us link a Funcom account. I had the battle pass 2 seasons ago on PC but not on PS, so now I have it on both and have to progress both. Not to mention missing that previous content on PS and having to repurchase bazaar stuff. Otherwise they should make the game remember that I own things. Definitely frustrating to have to log back in for no reason.

They’ve said that they do not want to put in the effort of validating accounts themselves in favor of having it just ‘work’ when people play online as well as crossplay between PC:Steam/EGS/MGP

There would need to be overwhelming support for them to change their mind on this. And when I saying overwhelming I mean everyone. Not half of the playerbase, but probably well over three fourths or more.

I don’t think its impossible to get them to change their mind. But very unlikely. Because its going to take a lot more than a dozen forum posts going, “I think I would like this,” “I wish this would work,” “This would be a nice change.” Its going to have to be priority for a good amount of people.

Unfortunately, it isn’t. If it isn’t priority for us, it won’t be priority for them.
