Just wondering, do(n’t) pets eat from the second stack in their and other inventories and from multiple stacks at once too?
If you put multiple stacks in the inventory/feed box. They will grab preferred food first. then move on down the line when one stack is finished. Lets say i have 4 rocknose in a pen. They grab from the first stack of stone in the pen and then work on down.
Despite the time it takes to tame, pets seem to only grab one piece of food while they are taking. If you watch you can see which stack is reduced by one when you drop a new baby in to tame. This is counter intuitive given that grown pets need plenty of food to survive. Growing babies would logically consume more.
