Does Funcom play their own game?

Ill get it, with new stuff their should always be bugs.

But when multiple DLC is invisible.
When the last meta armor is invisible (Serpent boots, jhill gloves)

Then im wondering, do they play their own game?

Why did we change releasing the wall from triangle to circle? Because of some people complaining about taking all from a bench or vault?

Why did we change the R3 allignment? It doesnt make any sense. I wont have a 2nd thumb on my left hand.

Funcom had 1 job today, a job that got messed up more then any of the updates we saw over the past years.

Lets unlock sorcery on Siptah, enters the cave to learn it
Ow wait, boom instantly dead because of the mesh.

Sorcery 3.0 it will be fun they said.

I don’t think they play what do ever . It’s been YEARS and they still have huge issues with everything. How can you expect us to buy dune when it comes out when you can’t finish CE?

None of these bugs were present in any prior stage to testing. Whatever they did, it’s recent.

We’ll test servers are brand new , fresh right? Why not just do hard reset so the game can run smoother. Forget about people crying about their base. Right now they probably can’t even play the game right now so might as well if it’s going to save the game

Yes they play the game but on private server and I remember when climbing got screwed up and rob could not get to his base as he had to climb but yes they do play the game just on their/company? Private server

Some of these bugs were not on Testlive.
Which is mildly fascinating.

However, if this one had to guess, it would be that in addressing bugs caught on Testlive, the new ones we just encountered were created.

Test live is brand new servers so it only shows doing server wipes might be the best thing for this game it’s been too long so much stuff needs to be filtered out

Thinking most of these problems are for playstation only so naturally they havent been present on testlive since theyre only for PC, if a playstation test live server would exist these bugs would have been spotted right on by players since obviously funcom doesnt test playstation build at all before launching as usual.

I got told PC isnt that bed yet. But Playstation for example is completly garbage at the moment.

The weird thing is even more that the allignment changing for me personally destroys the fun of raiding bases.

Do they even build? Did they try to raid each others bases. Placing bombs on stairs while the enemy tries to jump on their heads.

Because at the moment it looks like they didnt use a dlc base, nor did they try to raid each other.

This!

Like even if they would have tested pvp on playstation and then tested their update. They would have noticed the invisible armor. Or partly invisible vaults.

The invisible dlc buildings would have shown and they would have found out that the allignment button for bombs (Hold arrow down button) is the most… Button they could have chosen. Like for real, players got 1 thumb, wich prefferably is on the thumb stick (incase of walking away when enemies attack you) but no, they want use to hold a different button :expressionless:

I have played hundreds and hundreds of hours, and I am still occasionally dumping all of my inventory into a furnace or taking all items from my vault into my backpack. :upside_down_face:

Uhhhh so I’m sure they raid each other but since they build and play and improve the game I’d say they more than likely don’t do any abuse or rude things cause A. They get fired and B. That may lose their spot on the dev private server so they play fairly I’d say  but that’s because they play it right not that you don’t but just lots of people like to ruin others experience just cause they can as it feels like every pvp game similar to this or even lower types have these people just what the world stuck with

They gave people the abillity to make a max vitality, max encumberence double jumping build. So if they would classify it as playing ‘unfair’ then why they made it 10 times easier for people to achieve this build.

Back in the days this build had hardly any grit and vitality.

Of course they test their game. If they didn’t that would be like putting a car together with your eyes shut. These bugs were unintentional meaning they were not anticipated. So when they tested it must have worked, and then when it was ported across something went wrong. Online game design is a very tricky business. But they are certainly not ignoring the issues friend.
