Does this game have some kind of memory leak? Even after disabling notifications and shutting down Discord (which I find that I must do or I immediately get into blue screen territory) I find that after a while, if I do not shut down my computer entirely, I start to get game crashes that if I do not stop playing, only become more and more frequent until I shut down my computer and then upon reboot, the game seems to play ok until the problems begin all over again.

In my experience, if you start playing and are in one area, everything is fine. If you start teleporting, your available memory starts to decrease. After about an hour or an hour and a half of playing, I minimize the window and use Wise Memory Optimizer, after which I can easily play for another two or three hours. (I have 16 GB of memory.)

While I am not an expert, that sounds like something not getting purged properly. Should be reported

to the dev’s:

Addendum, after doing some testing along with having a rather unfortunate experience, I can safely conclude that Discord is NOT responsible for my bluescreens. It is purely the notifications. I know this now because even after I turned notifications off, I had a notification forced upon me by Microsoft telling me to upgrade to Win11 and my computer immediately bluescreened.

They should already have tons of data on this as after each crash I always click the “send report” button.

To be honest, I think this has always been a problem. It’s a gradual thing until you start traveling around the map into the different biomes then it becomes exponential. Over time It’ll get laggier, and desync during combat will happen more often. It’s the only thing they haven’t fixed that- if they did, would make the game feel almost perfect.

Note: I have a modern rig as well.
