Does this mean the thing that can not be mentioned is now fixed? I don’t want to get banned for trying it to find out.

One can hope, but steam forums seems to think no. Its only forums though so Im not sure.
Where are you looking? I can’t see anywhere recent that says it’s fixed or not.
