Took care of that already. Just use Windows 7, Microsoft’s most recent PC operating system. Windows 10 is a smartphone app. IMHO!
I have already updated, it did not hurt my game. For some reason though it enabled my built in wifi that I had disabled, which overrode my Netgear A610 wireless adapter, causing <Problems range from Vsync issues to games stuttering, frames dropping, and in some cases frequent BSOD crashes> and me to curse Funcom and G-Portal mistakenly…lol.
Already updated, same performance, same FPS in conan exiles.
But that doesn’t mean anything, maybe other games may run worse, but i don’t play anything else atm.
Windows 10 indeed feels like a smartphone app, but i still wouldn’t recommend to use an outdated, non supported and unsecure operating system such as Win7 or even worse WinXP.

From article: “When Microsoft isnt ruining the best gaming PC…” is a pretty silly statement considering a good gaming machine can handle a frame rate drop here or there. I know I havent noticed a thing since the last update on anything but my conan server potatoes and that was only because I was actually using the web browser on them to find stupid gifs for discord… which you know… just had to happen.
You should be fine as long as you never connect the computer to the internet.
I don’t like everything Microsoft has done (and is about to do) with Windows 10, but as someone who works as an IT professional I could not recommend using an obsolete OS such as Win 7.
