Doorframe works better than crenelated walls for archers

Game mode: [Online]
Problem: [Bug]
Region: [EU]

Archers on my towers hardly fired at any mobs in range. They were positioned on a tower with crenelated walls.
After swapping out the crenelated walls with doorframes the archers would engage much more efficiently.
The towers aren’t that tall, and if you look at my entrance I have a blockade/canal system forcing mobs to zig zag their way through. Giving more than enough opportunities to my archers.

I am aware that the angle can play a large part in this scenario, but one of the core functions of the crenelated walls is to provide archers a line of sight to their target.

This is on official server 2018.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Create a small tower with crenelated walls and an archer.
  2. Pull a mob so it comes close to tower.
  3. Do the same with doorframes instead of crenelated walls.
