Greetings
Exiles,

To further remedy the stability loss issue,
we'll also be shortening the conversion rates for thralls and
pets in our upcoming Booster Event. They'll convert to your side
twice as fast.

benefits here:https://t.co/d91Eedf8Cn

A genuine question for the dev’ team… Instead of doubling the time it takes to convert a thrall, how about doubling the time it takes to level the thrall instead…?

That would be nice.

Just a question, since I have no idea how other people do it…
What kind of things do you do to level up your followers? Which places do you go and which enemies do you kill?

Some of my clan mates prefer the jungle and train to level 10 on the gorillas, apes and birds there. There are so many animals there it’s pretty fast. I actually prefer the Frost Temple to level 10, then on to Unnamed City. I wouldn’t bother doing New Asagarth or the Wine Cellar dungeon till at least level 15 though, and no matter what, I always put my thralls in the heaviest armor with bulked plating as I can craft. If the enemy is few and far between a mace (‘Momentum’ at the moment for me) is good, but if there are mobs I tend to use a 2h sword.

Personally I’ve found that Rocknoses give a really good chunk of XP, so I did the Midnight Grove for early levels then went directly to the Shattered Springs and depending on how much I needed to finish leveling my follower I would do Klael’s Stronghold.

Though for all of this process I tell my follower to stop so it doesn’t fight or gets hurt at all :catnobanana:

Humans don’t give any relevant xp.
Best place to start is the jungle where you get more bang for the buck, so to speak. Grey apes aren’t dangerous,; give a lot of xp and die fast. They also provide the meat you want to develop hp on thralls, the best bet at this moment and fur for bulk plating.
After level 10, you may start killing the bosses in the area and get legendary weapons. You have two spiders in the silkwood, but be careful because they can kill the thralls if they still have low hp. Better take care of them yourself.
You can take on the one skull reptile monstrosity across the river from the pagoda or use the extra key from the spider in a quick run to the chest he guards. If you are leveling your thrall, kill it, too, but the area is a bit bugged and you might end up fighting it yourself because your thrall might sink in the sand.
Then there’s a demon spider on the island across the sea, in from if the POI " a light to guide them".
On the top right corner of the map you’ll find a giant croc. While at it, you can also dive for gold in sunken chests and check the pagoda for t4 crafter thralls.
The UC is also a good choice for variety, especiallyif you are farming fragments of power and legebdary weapins that now are quite worthy…

The Unnamed City also drops a lot of golem parts on top of this, so it’s definitely a good place to farm XD

Yeah… lol… I’m still to get into the golem thingie . I still ignore them, mostly. My bad, @SpherisCore .

What interests me is the Lotus Burner chestpiece, because +20% Agility & Strength weapon bonus damage :eyes:

So I can have +40% from armor, +30% from Elixir + Food, +20% from Golem… That’s a total of +90% lmfao, that’s ridiculous
Wanna see how fast things drop with this :snake:
And now, the Grey Lotus will be useful for me unlike before

Not impressed with them.

Don’t know if it’s the fastest way, but in my experience, the best result I got in the Unnamed City.
Skeletons used to give 18,000 exp each, now they give ~10,000 (probably less).

Considering the amount of said Skeletons and how quickly they go down, I find it very easy to level up my Thrall there. Also I collect Treasures and still hope to drop the Sword of Crom one day :joy:

All my Thralls I leveled-up to 20 have been “trained” there.

Neither am I, but some people vouch for them fiercely. I wouldn’t know. Basically I mostly ignored their existence so far. The only times I built them was to complete challenges from the BP. And I spawned basically everything!

The Sword of Crom has been nerfed though, and is no longer useful for thralls. For the player - I’ve seen some “fringe” builds made for it to work, in specific cases so… :man_shrugging:

Nah, not gonna use it. Even more now it can’t be repaired.
I’ll just keep it in the hope one day Devs will acknowledge the mistake of making it not usable for Thralls and will make it great again.

Work around is to grab the thrall stuck in the ground and place back on the main world , then have them follow you again.

Your kidding right?

Because it takes 5 hours with a high end thrall from 0-20 currently.

And thats not grinding it- thats casually going through UC and warmakers.

As a matter of fact, you can do laps in warmakers and by the time you come back to the beginning, you can do the main boss again collecting scraps as well as XP off the bosses inside warmakers.

Every second lap you can get the rusted key scraps

I think it was lap 5-6 when i was done.

UC takes longer as your horsing it around, but your get fragments of power off the bosses.

OH yeah thats is before the Xp boost btw

Golems’ weakness to starmetal makes them.
… specialized. Mounds will kill them quickly…very very quickly.

If you really need it, just run a bit on the shore and the thrall will teleport, but I don’t know how big is the leash of the reptile. If it was shortened, it might go back to spawn and regen its health. The only problem with this boss is getting stuck on its snout. We need to jump out of it as rolling won’t work. Other than that, it’s very predictable.

Im always attacking from behind so that doesnt happen- but my thralls will get stuck at that particular boss and sometimes the king Rhino near Sep. I always pull them out of the ground myself.

It’s not a bad idea, @Akomo .
He will spin very fast and may get you if you don’t cancel a animation. It’s the same with the giant crocs. But they are not hard fights. I don’t remember the last time any of them posed any danger. Easy legendaries.
