First off… YEP, I have draw distance sat to MAX in settings.
Anything player-made you have to get really close to before seeing. And lately NPC villages also don’t draw very far away.
I see the why’s and reasons for keeping this as is, but the solution to the problem is to not load hidden objects.
I see when getting close to my camp, every mug and jar in behind every wall is loaded into memory and is rendered and simulated. That’s the problem.
If only certain objects and structures, and very low level textures where used until really close to a structure, you could draw everything as far as anything else…
