There should be an option to drop all the items if a type in your inventory. For example, say I have a large quantity of Ironstone, and I want to drop it, I would hover over the Ironstone, click R1 and select the option “Drop All”
Does it take that long to just press one button over each one? A “Drop All” button could be nice, but it isn’t that much of a necessity.
Maybe not for something that stacks to 1000, but have you ever been harvesting wood in the volcano and ended up with hundreds of stacks of Cochineals in your inventory?
Of course, they could also increase the stack size of all base resources to 1000 and achieve much the same result…
I agree with the increase to the stack sizes, but I just don’t see a “Drop All” button being necessary even with your Cochineals. Just press the drop button a bunch. It sounds robust and perhaps lame, but it is more precise if you need some of those materials that you are trying to drop.
That’s just me, I’m not speaking for everyone, though, so carry on.
Some of us have Repetitive Strain Injuries, but would still like to be able to enjoy our hobbies without needless discomfort.
lmao really?. how can you play a game that requires button smashing with no issues but u get tendon wear from pressing the triangle key 180 times ? ehhrrr what about you just open up your inventory at so and so many stacks and empty them instead of stacking up millions of stacks ?
It is not what this game demands from us that cripples us, but what already has happened prior and how the continuum of ridiculous button smashing is unhealthy for the player and their command input devices.
What is simply asked from the devs is to break the unnecessary habit, to consider our hands and devices; their span of use and upkeep. I bought support gloves for a friend just couple months ago. Issue is indeed there.
Crippling our efficiency further does not solve the issue. If we would do this, it would only delay that millionth of a press, not prevent the issue.
Theories given may not always yield the result we wish them to provide in practise. However, we can find out which one fits as long as we are willing to discuss about our strengths and weaknesses honestly.
