Gotta love funcom ans its conan exiles. Go do dungeon die because thrall refused to fight what i told it to attack and every swing i do gets canceled by spiders no matter how far into swing i am. Then proceed to insta lootbag my loot then get me stuck in a load screen? Seriously funcom? Do better.

You already know it. Its all about catering to the pve side of the game then they fail to see the problems that persist in combat when they do it. 2 npcs can easily cancel any combat swing at any point of tbe swing ruins combat

Skill issue…

You… do… realize that the very reason that dungeon was “broken” was so that cheaters on pvp with skybases can’t use it as a “get home for free” teleport? :stuck_out_tongue:

Not saying it’s good or anything… but there was really no need to bring up “catering to the pve side” as it comes across a bit ironic when you’re having an issue with a pve encounter that was made worse as a response to pvp players exploiting it.

lol this was my thoughts exactly. We on PvE were mildly frustrated with certain bugs, but the straight up loss of stuff was never an issue when you’d just be kicked from the dungeon with everything in tact. Now to combat the PvP exploits, we lose our stuff permanently because it will crash or whatever and there’s no respawning back into dungeon.

You realize you could use a teleporter to get to a skybase right? Its the same as undermeshing. If the idea is to eliminate quick free loot back to base then they would need to get rid of recall body, teleporters and all the works. No just ruin the gameplay for everyone works. You cant justify their incompetence with that argument

It gave a pop to spawn dungeon, i dont know if theyre trying to implement it in next update but they should, i clicked it seeing the immediate lootbag and got stuck loading as though the infinite load on death bug came back. Had to close game and all. But combatting exploits with actions like this need to stop. It ruins everyone from pve to pvps gameplay

Why do you think they don’t work after a certain height? :stuck_out_tongue:

Haven’t needed the transportory stone or the dungeon to accomplish quick recovery of loot to a skybase or undermesh, since AoS, it has been use of summoning corpse.

Before it was using thralls to return home.

I’m happy that they got rid of transpo stone method but really, that wasn’t going to stop them.

Again a case of Funcom treating a symptom rather than the problem.

Anyway, the dungeon was poorly thought out in all of its iterations. It sucks finding out on your own the first time but learn from it and don’t expect perfection.

Yea, if that was indeed the reason, I agree, it’s quite the bandaid, thou in the above bug report all sorcery stations were disabled, including the circle to summon the corpse :man_shrugging:

As for the dungeon, the initial iteration wasn’t horrible, it just performed very badly on officials… it was otherwise “well thought out” and working fine in a “lab environment”… but as soon as the server wasn’t up to speed, things were happening in all sorts of weird ways.

It didn’t fix the summoning corpse part unfortunately.

What really fixed skybases were those recent hotfixes. A new method was discovered, of course, but it’s not really very viable. So skybases have been by and large eliminated (so happy, for real).

Unfortunately I believe that in doing so it’s cause some building issues because of checks (no expert of course).

Oh you mean the new system that double-checks if your building has proper support from the ground up? Yea, that would make them crumble, but also some older builds that were made before the system potentially.

And in realization of something just now, while anyone could make a skybase or easy undermeshes as they are exploits, hackers definitely used these too. I wonder if there is a bit of correlation in seeing the increased hacker activity because they can’t hide as easily…

It did affect legacy, yes. The biggest was the undermeshed skybase in the wolf cave. Gone, byebye FUXXXINGG finally. It was a bane to every single damn server that these clowns set up on.
